Spring Concert/Recital
Our year culminates in May with a Spring Concert (recital--see dates in the calendar). The performances are fast-paced and entertaining, following a central theme

Nutcracker
RRRDC anxiously anticipates the annual presentation of THE NUTCRACKER to Round Rock Independent School District 2nd grade students. The magical hour long lecture/demonstration is a unique approach to this holiday ballet story involving the dance centre's trained staff, the performing troupes, and dance centre students, dancing with, not simply for, elementary students!
Performing Troupes
"ROCK-ETTES" This select group of dancers represents RRRDC in community performances and competitions. Dancers audition for troupe and are those aspiring for a more intense dance experience. These dancers are required to take a minimum of four classes per week, and commit to an intensive rehearsal schedule. "ROCK-ETTES" offers an entire ensemble concept which is very "team oriented" and not a "star building" experience. More information is available upon request!
"rock*stars" For those ages 7-10, RRRDC offers this fun, encouraging and no pressure performance group. Serving as the minor league organization for the "ROCK-ETTES", the "rock*stars" will be performing at local festivals, including The Hairy Man Festival, the Georgetown Stroll, the Poppy Festival, and as other opportunities arise. The "rock*stars" will also be a part of RRRDC's Nutcracker presentation in the Round Rock public schools. We are here for fun and the experience! There is no audition process. Simply register for the "rock*stars" rehearsal block and consider yourself in! Dues for the "rock*stars" program are $55 per month, in addition to the dancer's regular tuition, September through May.
